The Templar Route takes us on a magical route through mystical places, including some of the most important medieval monuments in Trás-os-Montes.
This route starts at the door of the Chapel of Sr.ª do Carrasco, Azinhoso. Passing by the Templar Church of Santa Maria de Azinhoso (one of the most important medieval temples in Trás-os-Montes), we cross the Bastelos stream over a Roman bridge, which leads us to the Templar Castle of Penas Roias.
Going around the village as we descend, with the Castle always in sight and along paths full of mysticism, we end the walk in a leisure area, which has a restored mill and several barbecues.
